For young children, it can be an especially confusing time as many are pulled from the traditional classroom environment and into an online one, a transition that can prove to be daunting.

Time Management: Time management is a difficult task for many students, as online courses require a lot of time and intensive work.
Self-Motivation: E-learning requires the motivation to follow the new educational trends, to keep up with assignments, and be proactive in attendance and participation. Some students don’t have the discipline to self-motivate, which can lead to poor academic performance.
